This illuminated wall was a site-specific installation for a house that was undergoing renovation. While the walls had nothing covering the framing, Cradle Art Group hosted a show there in March, called "These Walls Can Talk". My purpose was to turn the solidity of a wall into a glowing mass. Its color is the color of its own skin illuminated by its interior. I am drawn to the idea that a building is like a body and so with light, you give it life.
