"The Desire to Fall" was born out of two thoughts; one: a series of things stacked precariously would create a sense of tension, and, two: the release of tension creates a return to inertia. I was thinking of the second idea in terms of pain and painlessness; the moment of pain so intense your body shuts off completely or lets, perhaps, a wave of medication wash over you. The muted glow from the interior represents either some warm, half-conscious sensation, or the vision of someone in the distance who has come take care of you.
