| These are 3-dimensional sketches of what is on the drawing board for 2008. I can never bring myself to throw away broken umbrellas because of the moveable mechanics, and so, with a bunch of salvaged floor plans, I put together this "nonthinking" maquette for a sculpture that would hang in billows....paper, but not necessarily floor plans.......it is still in the works! |

This sled is actually a found object sculpture entitled "Hurry up and Wait". It is a sled that I altered to have a fixed brake, so that thte weight of a person would simultaneously force the object to move and stop. It is about anticipating change but being held back by circumstance. |

This sculpture is currently in progress. I asked for bags of shredded paper to be able to stuff an armature, but the process of putting resin on it to make it transluscent has been technically inconsistent. The next step is to unstuff part of it, make it more hollow, and restuff the skin, which will be coated with resin. Then it will hang high in a room, somewhere, acting as a rocket or pretentious female figure that has set itself above its viewers. |

This lamp was made for a friend who taught me the basics of using LED lights. The lamp itself uses a single LED light. It is steel, copper, and glass. 4" x 15" x 15"
